Thank you for considering a donation to our cause. While we have not yet received 501(c)(3), tax-exempt status from the IRS, we intend to file an application for same in the coming months. Because our tax-exempt status is still subject to the IRS’s discretion, you should know that contributions may not be tax deductible for an unknown period of time. Should our application be approved in the coming months, tax-exempt status would be recognized back to the date our organization was formed, and any contributions made during that period will be tax-deductible for donors. While we have every reason to believe donations in this interim period will be tax-deductible after 501(c)(3) status is achieved, we cannot guarantee that at the present time. We will endeavor to notify all donors of any status change following our receipt of an IRS determination letter. Thank you.
